Member of the Munich Stadtrat, Beatrix Zurek, opens the Bürgerversammlung Maxvorstadt tonight and presents some slides with general information about Munich, e.g. financial matters (budget of the city) and also recent information about refugees.
These numbers refer to the refugees assigned to the city of Munich (at the moment 350 per week) and do not include any other arrivals of new people.

Currently 11,500 asylum seekers assigned to Munich in 2015. Expected number for the whole year 2015: 18,900. 5,700 places already planned, 1,700 places still needed
